The Seattle police bicycle officer injured Tuesday during the Sounders FC championship march and parade remains at Harborview Medical Center, a hospital spokeswoman said Wednesday.
Medics took the officer to the hospital with what police spokesmen described as nonlife-threatening injuries after he collided with a trolley at Queen Anne Avenue North and Mercer Street. The trolley was carrying Sounders representatives. A tire pinned the officer.
Harborview spokeswoman Susan Gregg said shortly before 5:10 p.m. Wednesday the officer remained at the hospital in satisfactory care. No further details on his injuries were available.
A witness to the incident, Peter Choi, said Tuesday the officer couldn’t move while he was pinned.
