The Seattle Sounders stay at home for the second week of the season when they host the Colorado Rapids this Saturday night. The Sounders are coming off a high with their 4-1 victory on Opening Weekend, their first opening win to start the season since 2015. The Rapids came from two goals down to tie the Portland Timbers 3-3 in the coldest game in MLS history.
The Sounders currently find themselves at the top of the Western Conference and Supporters’ Shield standing (yes, it’s after only one week but work with me here) and Colorado sits in 5th place in the West with their one point last weekend.
