Report: Sounders’ Jordan Morris out 6-9 months after tearing ACL at Santa Tecla

It is, indeed, the worst case for the Sounders.

They went El Salvador and returned with a stunning 2-1 CONCACAF Champions League loss to Santa Tecla FC, and now, a season-ending injury for Jordan Morris.

Late in the match at Santa Tecla, Morris collapsed untouched and need to be assisted off the field. He was seen after the game on crutches with ice on right right knee. According to a report by FOX soccer analyst Stu Holden, the Sounders striker will miss six to nine months with a torn right ACL.

Morris’ season was cut short last year, as well, after going down with a hamstring injury in September.
