Jordan Morris had arguably the highest leverage a soccer player of his age and caliber once he announced he would forgo his Senior year and go pro. After training overseas in Germany and mulling over his future and options before him, Morris ultimately decided to stay within the United States and sign a homegrown contract with the Seattle Sounders last week. His arrival is very good news for the Rave Green as a team and MLS as a league.
With his signing and grand introduction with the Sounders executives and head coach Sigi Schmid present to introduce their latest signing, Morris’ days as a professional soccer player officially began.
