Seattle Reign FC announced this week the signing of fullback Alyssa Kleiner, who most recently played for the Washington Spirit.
Kleiner played collegiately for Santa Clara and helped lead the Broncos to an NCAA playoff berth in 2013, but went undrafted in 2015. She was a non-roster invitee for the Portland Thorns that season and earned her first NWSL minutes as an amateur call-up before signing a contract with the Thorns in the middle of the season. In total, she made 8 appearances for Portland and tallied one assist.
Prior to the 2016 season she was traded to the Washington Spirit in exchange for defender Katherine Reynolds.
