Preseason Notebook: Sounders switch up tactics in Saturday's training session

Now in his second season with the Seattle Sounders, defender Oniel Fisher is confident he can continue to make an impact after breaking through with the club as a rookie.

Fisher, who was selected 40th overall at the 2015 MLS SuperDraft, had no trouble solidifying a spot in the Sounders’ starting XI down the stretch last season, racking up nine starts in 12 appearances on the left side.

He also started each of the team’s two games in the Western Conference Semifinals.

“Last year was a stepping stone. It was my first year, and I’m here again this year to get better,” Fisher said following Saturday’s morning training session in Tucson, Ariz.
