Seattle Sounders forward Oalex Anderson has been called in to the St. Vincent and the Grenadines national for the Vincy Heat's upcoming World Cup qualifying matches against Trinidad & Tobago.
Anderson, 20, has 20 caps for the Vincy Heat and scored a goal in the team's 6-1 loss to the United States in the first round of qualifying in November. He signed a first-team contract with the Sounders earlier this month after making his debut with S2 last year. He's appeared in two of the Sounders' three MLS games this season, coming off the bench in the season opener and in the team's 2-1 loss to Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Saturday night.
