It wasn’t necessarily intended as a Martin Luther King Day episode, but the time of Jeremiah’s conversation with Sounders Academy goalkeepers coach Joshua Ford and Head Strength and conditioning coach Sean Muldoon worked out pretty perfectly. Ford and Muldoon have been two of the bigger behind-the-scenes forces in terms of helping raise awareness of various social justice causes among the Sounders. Perhaps most notably is their efforts to bring attention to Manny Ellis’ murder, a case that has highlight all sorts of concerning law-enforcement behavior.
