It has been a quiet few days surrounding Paolo Hurtado’s rumored move to the Seattle Sounders. That does not mean the trail has gone cold, as Sounders sources have confirmed that negotiations with the Peru international are ongoing.
The last bit of information to come out of the rumor mill was that the Sounders and Vitoria Guimarães — his team in Portugal — had agreed to a transfer fee of $1.5 million (likely to be paid over at least a couple of seasons), leaving the rather significant detail of negotiating personal terms.
