Former Seattle Sounders forward Nelson Valdez appears to be headed back his native Paraguay after a season and a half as Designated Player in the Emerald City.
Valdez appeared in a video on Wednesday in the jersey for Paraguayan club Cerro Porteño and on the club's official Twitter account asking fans of the Asuncion-based team to join him for an official announcement later in the day.

Although Valdez did not officially confirm he has not joined the team, the video is the first indication of what’s in store for the veteran forward.
