With the final pick of the first round the Seattle Sounders selected a champion to join their squad. Brian Nana-Sinkam is a 6’0” tall, 180-pound center back that won the NCAA tournament with Jordan Morris and also played with Aaron Kovar. Nana-Sinkam was a three-year-starter in defense for the Cardinal.
Brian Nana-Sinkam made the USSDA Finals in 2012 with PA Classics and played a bit for the Philadelphia Union Reserves, as well. He played in seven games with the PDL Burlingame Dragons, scoring one goal.
At the Combine he played on Team Tango under the University of Denver’s coach.
