The 2021 NWSL allocated player lists were released today. OL Reign’s total number of federation subsidized players is unchanged (for now), but the names of those who are allocated has shifted. Megan Rapinoe remains allocated by the United States, as she has been for every year in the NWSL, while Allie Long is no longer on the list of federation subsidized players and signed a new contract with the club for 2021. Quinn has been added to the allocated player list for Canada, which means that in addition to having their contract paid by the Canadian Soccer Association, they no longer occupy an international slot.
