TACOMA, WASH. – Sounders FC 2 (5-14-2, 17 points) on Saturday earned a 3-2 victory over San Antonio FC (9-6-7, 34 points) for its second consecutive home win at Cheney Stadium. First Team midfielder Henry Wingo recorded a brace while Shandon Hopeau netted the game-winner in the 68th minute, as S2 improves to 5-6-0 at home in its first season in Tacoma.
Seattle got on the board early when Denso Ulysse surged up the right hand side in the fifth minute and found Wingo, who weaved through four defenders before beating San Antonio goalkeeper Diego Restrepo.
