MATCH RECAP: Tacoma Defiance earns second consecutive road draw

TACOMA, WASH. – Tacoma Defiance (2-11-5, 11 points) on Saturday earned its second consecutive road draw with a 0-0 result at Rio Grande Valley FC (5-7-5, 20 points). Tacoma played to a 1-1 draw in its last contest on June 15 at Austin Bold FC. Defiance has now earned a point in consecutive road games for the first time this season.

First Team goalkeeper Trey Muse made four saves to earn his second career professional clean sheet. Muse also shut out Rio Grande Valley FC in his professional debut and Tacoma’s season opener on March 8, 1-0, at Cheney Stadium.
