TACOMA, WASH. – Tacoma Defiance (2-9-1, 7 points) on Saturday played to its first draw of the season, a 1-1 decision with Reno 1868 FC (4-2-5, 17 points). Justin Dhillon scored just nine seconds into the match, earning a place in the record books for the fastest goal in USL Championship history. The evening’s final result snapped a six-game losing streak for Tacoma, which moved to 2-3-1 on the season at Cheney Stadium.
Jesse Daley took the game’s opening kickoff and sent a pass to Dhillon, who found Azriel Gonzalez streaking down the left side. Gonzalez sent a cross into the area which found Dhillon, who calmly headed home Tacoma’s lone goal of the evening.
