LOS ANGELES, CALIF. – Seattle Sounders 2 on Sunday equaled their highest goal output of the season with three, but fell on the road to LA Galaxy II, 5-3. Jesse Daley scored his first goal with S2 and added two assists, while captain Ray Saari found the back of the net for the second consecutive match. David Estrada netted the third goal for S2, pushing his team-leading goal total to seven.
Seattle got on the board first in the 14th minute on Saari’s second goal of the season. Shandon Hopeau made a sliding tackle to win the ball in the midfield before finding Jesse Daley, who set up Saari for a long-range strike.
