TACOMA, WASH. – A second-half stoppage-time equalizer from Shandon Hopeau on Wednesday night allowed Sounders FC 2 (5-16-5, 20 points) to extend its home unbeaten streak to five games. S2 battled back from a 4-1 deficit to Tulsa Roughnecks FC (2-13-11, 17 points) and earned a point in a 4-4 draw at Cheney Stadium in Tacoma. Tonight’s match concluded a stretch of three home games in eight days in which S2 earned three points (0-0-3), as the club has now earned 18 of its 20 points in front of the home crowd this season.
S2 trailed Tulsa 4-2 in the 81st minute before David Estrada’s team-leading 10th goal of the season pulled the home side to within one.
