The Sounders have added a new piece of technology to their fan interaction, releasing "Sounders FC DeskSite", a desktop app that lets fans watch team videos both online and off. DeskSite, the application's developer, touts their product as a "DVR for the Internet", and have developed similar interfaces for over 20 other NFL, NHL, and MLS teams.
When S2 takes on San Antonio FC at Starfire this coming Sunday, former Sounders GK Josh Ford will return to Seattle where his professional career began. After injuries derailed his MLS career, Ford is now a veteran with a fresh start in the USL.
