Chad Marshall and Ozzie Alonso were named to the MLS Team of the Week. After a 1-0 win at home and a big 2-1 win on the road over Cascadia rival Vancouver Whitecaps FC, defender Marshall and midfielder Alonso were both named to the list.
Seattle Sounders FC are the hottest team in all of Major League Soccer. The Sounders have been on an unholy tear since they replaced Sigi Schmid with Brian Schmetzer and Nicolas Lodeiro made his debut concurrently at the end of the July.
