The Seattle Sounders and Tacoma Defiance both claimed quality wins over the weekend - the Sounders’ coming as they won back-to-back games for the first time since beating Charlotte FC and the Vancouver Whitecaps at the end of May and beginning of June. OL Reign took a lead in their game against the Chicago Red Stars, but needed a late goal from Rose Lavelle to claim a draw. The Club World Cup could be coming to the United States, and Chelsea’s firing of Thomas Tuchel and subsequent hiring of Graham Potter is maybe even messier than we could have expected.
