The Major Arena Soccer League’s Tacoma Stars will honor Seattle Sounders head coach Brian Schmetzer at the Stars’ match against the St. Louis Ambush at the ShoWare Center in Kent, Wash., on Sunday, Feb. 12 at 3:05 p.m. PT.
Schmetzer will perform the ceremonial first kick prior to the match. He spent seven years playing professional indoor soccer, including three with Tacoma from 1988-90.

“I’m very much looking forward to coming down to support the Stars and my good friend and colleague Darren Sawatzky,” Schmetzer said.
