While most attention has been focused on Derlis Gonzalez, the Seattle Sounders have been linked to another attacking midfielder. Victor Rodriguez is a 28-year-old attacking midfielder who played last season with Sporting Gijon in La Liga. The club was relegated last season, and the two parties have agreed to terminate his contract so that he can join MLS. Spanish radio has then linked him to the Sounders, and much of Spanish media is reporting the same thing.
