All it took was one of the most dominating performances in MLS history for three Seattle Sounders to be named to Team of the Week. Leading the way was Jordan Morris, who was also named MLS Player of the Week for his one-goal, three-assist performance in the Sounders’ 7-1 win over the San Jose Earthquakes. Joevin Jones (two goals, two assists) and Raúl Ruidíaz (two goals, two assists) were also named to Team of the Week.
The bevy of options may have led to the Player of the Week voting being a bit closer than it probably deserved to be.
