Major League Soccer on Monday named Seattle Sounders winger Jordan Morris its Week 1 Player of the Week for his game-winning efforts as a substitute in Sunday’s 2-1 win over Chicago Fire FC at CenturyLink Field. In addition to his two goals, Morris, 25, also registered two key passes and had an assist called back after Video Review.

This is becoming a bit of a tradition for Morris, who also won Week 1 Player of the Week in 2019 for his two-goal effort in Seattle's season-opening win over FC Cincinnati.
