The Seattle's wunderkind's rocket trajectory continues as he becomes the first men's finalist from Stanford.
On the same day that Jordan Morris and the rest of the Stanford Cardinal will be kicking off their first College Cup game in 13 years, the Mercer Island native has been named a Hermann Trophy finalist — the first Sounders Academy graduate to ever achieve that honor.
Morris was named a semifinalist last season as a Sophomore, but didn't make the final group of Alex Bono, Andy Craven, and Leo Stolz — with Stolz going on to win the award before being drafted by the Red Bulls.
