Seattle Reign FC announced this week that two players have re-signed with the club for the 2019 season. Midfielder Morgan Andrews and forward Jasmyne Spencer, both newcomers in 2018, will return to Seattle for the upcoming season.
Spencer, 28, came to Seattle last season through a trade with the Orlando Pride, where she made 40 appearances, scored seven goals, and provided four assists. She appeared in 23 of Reign FC’s 25 matches — scoring two goals, including the lone Reign FC goal in the NWSL semifinal match against the Portland Thorns.
The forward, who is currently on loan to Melbourne City FC in Australia, began the 2018 season as an impact sub before working her way into a starting role.
