Henry Wingo just keeps winning league titles. The Seattle native and former Sounders player just added his third title in as many years as Ferencvaros TC clinched the Hungarian league title with a 3-0 win over Ujpest on Tuesday.
Wingo had previously won a title with Norway with Molde and played for the Sounders during their 2019 MLS Cup-winning season (although he had transferred partway through it).
Wingo did not play in the title-clinching match, but he has made nine appearances and three starts since transferring to Ferencvaros in January.
By winning the Hungarian top flight, Ferencvaros are now among 13 teams to have already claimed a spot in the first qualifying round of the 2021-22 Champions League.
