Gomez Defends Valdez from Criticism

After training on Monday, Herculez Gomez was asked on whether or not Gomez could emphasize with where Valdez is at with his struggles. Gomez responded perfectly, singling out Eddie Johnson and his comments about Valdez on social media.

Listen, I love Eddie but I don’t understand it. When Eddie was at Fulham, I’m sure a lot of people felt the same way there. Yeah he got the short end of the stick (in Seattle), but I don’t think anybody would have said it was unfair given how he got here and what he got.
