The Sounders suffered a pretty heavy defeat down in Frisco, Texas last Saturday, falling 2-0 to FC Dallas thanks to a 3rd minute penalty converted by Mauro Díaz and an 80th minute breakaway by Michael Barrios. The Sounders had their chances early, specifically Joevin Jones and Herc Gómez getting behind Dallas’ uncharacteristic high line, but couldn’t slip the ball past Chris Seliz, who stepped in for the injured Gonzalez.
