Four players who suited up for Sounders FC in 2015 are part of the 25 names available in the MLS Waiver Draft on Wednesday
Veteran Mexican international Gonzalo Pineda headlines the list of Sounders players available, joined by midfielders Michael Azira and Thomas and defender Andres Correa. The Sounders declined the options on all four players last week.
The Waiver Draft consists of players who have been waived by their clubs and are not eligible for the Re-Entry Draft or free agency. Under contract players who are selected in the Waiver Draft will be automatically added to the drafting club’s roster.
