Seattle Sounders FC announced on Tuesday that four more players would be called up to international duty during the Sounders’ two-week MLS break. In addition to Clint Dempsey and Jordan Morris’ USMNT call-ups, Roman Torres (Panama) and Joevin Jones (Trinidad & Tobago) have been called up for CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers. Oniel Fisher (Jamaica) and Jordy Delem (Martinique) have also been called in for the knockout stage of the 2017 Caribbean Cup.
Torres, who is the captain of the Panama national team, will potentially face Costa Rica (June 8) and Honduras (June 13) in WCQ action.
