You might think Brad Smith would be inpatient while he waits out his mandated 10-day quarantine period before he can rejoin his Seattle Sounders teammates. But considering how long he’s waited to finally call a place home, two weeks doesn’t seem like such a long time.
After a career that has seen him switch teams five times since making his professional debut in 2014 and never spending as many as two full seasons in one place, having some stability will be a welcome change.
“Football is all about a journey and everyone has a different pathway,” Smith said.
