There’s no question that Seattle Sounders fans are spoiled in many ways. One aspect that sometimes gets taken for granted is our supporters’ groups ability to design and deploy impressive pregame displays. It’s to the point that when we don’t see one for a big game there’s a general sense of disappointment.
To some degree, that’s a product of success and perfectly normal. The more you build a reputation, the higher the standards.
But last week was a good time to take a step back and just appreciate what ECS pulled off. Not only did they put together an impressive choreo for the CONCACAF Champions League match against Santa Tecla, they followed that up with an even bigger and more elaborate display for the Los Angeles FC match.
