The Seattle Sounders will celebrate their first-ever MLS Cup with a march through downtown on Tuesday, starting at 11 a.m. The event will begin at Westlake Park on 4th Avenue and Pine Street, continue up 4th to Cedar, then turn and go up 5th to Thomas and into Seattle Center, where it will end at the Fisher Lawn and fountain.
Supporters groups and the Alliance Council will lead the players, who will travel the route on Emerald City Trolleys, while Sound Wave brings up the rear. Fans are encouraged to line the streets before following behind the procession, and are also invited to simply wait for the march at Seattle Center.
