Fresh off leading their team to the GA Cup Champions Division title, Danny Leyva and Alfonso Ocampo-Chavez have been named to the United States U-17 Concacaf Championship roster. The Sounders are one of five MLS teams to have at least two players named to the 20-man roster, with the LA Galaxy being the only team to have three players named.
Leyva is one of just four players named to the roster born in 2003, and he is the youngest of those players. He has yet to make his USA U-17 debut, but was one of the 26 players named to the final pre-tournament camp that was held April 4-8.
