“It’s about making the right run. It’s not about just having the pace,” Dempsey said, and picking out runners was a major theme of the practice session. “It’s also about having a player with the vision to play that ball and utilize that person’s speed. … Get the players in the right areas and when you’re in the right areas, pick somebody out in the box.
