The United States men’s national team played to a scoreless draw in a friendly with Serbia on Sunday at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, Calif.
Seattle Sounders defender Chad Marshall started at center back, earning his first cap in over seven years. His last appearance came on Jan. 23, 2010, against Honduras. Marshall went the full 90 minutes in the draw.
Sounders forward Jordan Morris checked in as a substitute in the 74th minute for Jozy Altidore. Seattle defender Brad Evans was on the 23-man roster but did not play.
