Bend North, Oregon, defeated Lynnwood Pacific 5-1 to win Northwest Regional on Saturday and a spot in the Little League World Series.
Lynnwood was unable to score a run off Zack Reynolds during his 51/3 innings.
Reynolds allowed three hits, two walks and struck out nine.
Despite the loss, Lynnwood’s Kam Jordan had a strong outing, allowing two runs while striking out 10.
Lynnwood scored in the sixth inning on an RBI single by Max Kruse.
Bend plays Goodlettsville, Tenn., at 7 p.m. Thursday in Williamsport, Pa.
