In conjunction with the Alliance Council, Seattle Sounders FC today announced the voting results for its second-ever General Manager Vote. Of the 37.2 percent of eligible voters that cast their ballots, 87.3 percent gave Sounders FC General Manager & President of Soccer Garth Lagerwey a vote of retention. The outcome of this year’s General Manger Vote was announced at the 2018 Alliance Annual Business Meeting inside The Ninety earlier on Tuesday.
“Although we fell just short of the 40-percent threshold needed for a valid vote, we’ve heard a clear message from Alliance members about their confidence in the direction of our organization, and the body of work that Garth has put together over the past four seasons,” said Sounders FC Owner Adrian Hanauer.
