It didn’t take long for Seattle to open the scoring against Portland on Tuesday, but it’s probalby no surprise that two long-term first team players combined to make it happen. Nouhou bombed down the left side and fired in a deep cross that none of the Portland defense managed to touch, and Aaron Kovar timed his run perfectly to blast it past Attinella and make it 1-0 in just the 3rd minute.
