2016 Player Profile #32: Nathan Sturgis

Signed to add veteran depth in central midfield Nathan Sturgis eventually lost the competition for minutes to Cristian Roldan. Sturgis was on the bench a fair amount, but his services were not needed on the first team or on S2. He is 29 and now a free agent.

The ranking is based on several hundred Sounder at Heart readers’ votes. Realio rated every single MLS regular season and playoff game as well as the two CONCACAF Champions League matches. He did not rate USL or USOC play.
