We know Seattle Seahawks fans often wax poetic about their favorite team. Well, how about actually writing Seahawks poetry?
The traditional haiku consists of three lines, with the first containing five syllables, the second seven syllables, and the third five syllables. When it’s a haiku about the Seahawks, it becomes a “Hawku.”
Write your Hawku and share it on Twitter using the hashtag #Hawku, or leave it in our comments section below.
We’ll be watching for them, retweeting some of the best and publishing a selection of our favorites right here. Who knows: We might publish a few of them in the newspaper.
