The Seattle Seahawks could not have been thrilled about the news of Josh Gordon’s suspension, but the Seahawks will be able to overcome this, in the same way they have overcome so much this season.
Losing Gordon for the rest of the year takes one of the best NFL receiving athletes off the field for Seattle. Although his absence may limit some of the team’s offensive production going forward, the Seahawks still have plenty of playmakers to shoulder the offensive load.
The Seahawks offense was operating at its peak before Gordon showed up and while he made some crucial catches in his five games with the team, it is not like he had a huge role in the offense.
