In the opening days of free agency, the Seattle Seahawks watched offensive weapons leave for other teams, as both wide receiver Paul Richardson and tight end Jimmy Graham found new homes in which to play, and then late Sheldon Richardson departed for the Minnesota Vikings. This got fans excited about the potential for the Hawks to receive comp picks in the 2019 draft, but before long it became apparent the team was intent on adding multiple role players to the roster as potential contributors and that any comp picks could be cancelled out.
