Where Geno Smith ranks in quarterback pay after big Jordan Love, Tua Tagovailoa deals

It’s been a busy offseason for NFL quarterbacks getting paid (except Dak Prescott).

On Friday, the Miami Dolphins and Green Bay Packers respectively extended Tua Tagovailoa and Jordan Love beyond their rookie contracts. Tua’s average per year is just over $53 million, whereas Love is tied with Trevor Lawrence as the highest paid player in NFL history at a cool $55 million. Jared Goff was also extended to the tune of a $53 million/year deal, while Kirk Cousins agreed to a $45 million/year free agent contract, so it isn’t just younger QBs receiving hefty paydays.
