RENTON — The Seahawks say they mean it when they say there is not a player who becomes available that they won’t at least consider as a possible fit for their team.
And yes, that includes Antonio Brown, who on Saturday was released by the Oakland Raiders after a series of disagreements with the team’s management and then almost as quickly signed with the New England Patriots.
Coach Pete Carroll confirmed Monday that the Seahawks were “involved’’ with Brown during the short time he was available.
“We are involved in everything,’’ Carroll said. “I’ve been telling you that for a long time and we seriously mean we are trying to know what’s going on with every opportunity to get better and if we missed one of those, we messed up.
