The Seattle Seahawks entered the free-agency period with seven starters set to test the market.
Three -- wide receiver Jermaine Kearse, cornerback Jeremy Lane and defensive tackle Ahtyba Rubin -- are back with the team. Four -- linebacker Bruce Irvin, left tackle Russell Okung, right guard J.R. Sweezy and nose tackle Brandon Mebane -- have signed elsewhere.
With the third week of free agency approaching, there are still plenty of players remaining on the market. The Seahawks are in the market for offensive line help, a replacement (or replacements) for Irvin and a backup quarterback.
