Few teams felt inclined to make transactions this week due to the cutdown to 75-man rosters after Week 3 of the preseason. The biggest “shocks” of the week were the Saints cutting veteran corner Keenan Lewis and the Bills release of overweight running back Karlos Williams. Former Seahawks center Lem Jeanpierre was picked up by the Lions to help with the depth along their offensive line. Seattle’s only moves this week were the release of RB/FB Jonathan Amosa and the re-signing of FB/DL Will Tukuafu. Once roster cutdowns commence next week, expect a lot of surprising transactions, jersey swapping and teams attempting to hide project players they believe in.
