Video: Shaquill Griffin shown working at left cornerback at Seahawks OTAs

The Seattle Seahawks need a new left cornerback due to the departure of Richard Sherman to the San Francisco 49ers. Despite numerous talking heads suggesting Seattle needed to go after Sherman’s replacement through the draft, the Seahawks do have an actual promising talent who’s in line to be the team’s new #1 corner.

At day 1 of the Seahawks’ 2018 Organized Team Activities (OTAs), you can see a glimpse of Shaquill Griffin doing some work on the left side, having spent his rookie season at right corner.

Even when Sherman suffered his season-ending Achilles injury last season, Griffin remained as the team’s starting RCB, while the re-signed Byron Maxwell took Sherman’s spot.
