Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch recently hosted a football camp at Oakland Technical High School, his alma mater, for his Family 1st Family Foundation. Complex was there to document the experience.
The Fam 1st Family Foundation was founded by Lynch and cousin Josh Johnson — a backup quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals — in 2006 and “officially formed” in 2011 by the two Oakland natives.
The foundation’s goal is “to improve the lives of children by mentoring them on the importance of education, literacy and self-esteem.
